June this year, Allsorted completed another shopping mall project. This time, Allsorted provided the mall furniture for the newly refurbished Mall@Emba in Mpumalanga.
In June 2018, the mall, situated in Embalenhle, Mpumalanga, suffered serious damage due to protest action in the area. Fires broke out throughout the mall, destroying shops and products inside. The mall was subsequently rebuilt and refurbished, allowing for Allsorted to provide the new mall furniture.
Allsorted was asked by Anaprop Property Management to provide both benches and litter bins for this refurbishment project. The shopping mall required our Mall litter bin, however, it needed customization. The bottom has been raised to fit the plug points underneath without being an eyesore from the outside. The bins have been manufactured from stainless steel 430 – an indoor grade of stainless steel. Stainless steel is a durable and long-lasting material that is perfect for shopping malls where the bins are exposed to high traffic and usage. Standard stainless steel lids have also been paired with the bins.
Our Mall Composite bench has been placed alongside the litter bins. The Mall Composite bench comprises of a stainless steel 304 frame and composite material slats that make up the seat. The slats were customised to be wider with a larger gap between each one. The feet are adjustable so that any uneven floor surface issue can be tackled. The Mall Composite bench is a hard-wearing yet attractive bench, making it the perfect seating solution for shopping malls. Composite material is durable and comes in a variety of different colour options.
The bins and benches have been placed in combinations of a bench with a bin on either side. This ensures ample opportunity throughout the mall for patrons to throw away rubbish.
Thanks to Mall@Emba and Anaprop Property Management for the opportunity to provide the furniture for this project. Yet another awesome mall showing off our products!
